Pupils in Years 4, 5 and 6 took part in an indoor athletics competition on Monday 4th February 2019 at the K2 Sport and Leisure Centre in Crawley. They have written about their day:

“We arrived at K2 Sport and Leisure Centre at 9.00am. Seven schools were participating in the indoor athletics competition and we came third.

All of the events were fun and challenging to do. I took part in triple jump which I enjoyed. I really liked that fact that everyone was supportive and nice.

Mr Lockton did very well with the javelin he came first out of all the adults. I also enjoyed watching my teammates doing the “under over” and the “hop, step, jump”.

Mr Lockton would like to thank the children for their excellent behaviour, sportsmanship and teamwork. KS1 and KS2 classes are learning indoor athletics this term and their enthusiasm definitely paid off on the day.
