Christmas Fair at Waterfield
On Friday 7th December, we held our annual Christmas Fair, organised by the P.T.A.
There were various stalls, games, face painting, biscuit decorating, sand art, temporary tattoos, Santa’s magical grotto, exciting raffle prizes, refreshments and many more.
On behalf of the children and staff at Waterfield, we would like to thank the P.T.A. for securing some fantastic raffle prizes, organising the stalls, setting up the grotto, making up prizes and decorations. They have worked tirelessly to guarantee the fair will be exciting and a great success. They filled up 200 shepherd sweets jars, secured almost 30 raffle prizes and built an enchanted grotto. 284 children had the pleasure to visit Santa’s grotto.
“There were the best games ever such as: bounce the ball – where you had to bounce the ball into one of the given pots, the ring toss – where you had to get the ring onto a pole – and they had lots of other fun games too. There was tombola, guess the name of the polar bear teddy and the raffle.
There was Santa’s grotto from the North Pole. A refreshment room, stalls to buy teddies and some business stalls. The fair started with the school choir singing.
It was fun for all the family!” Words from Oliver, Year 6.
Thank you to all parents and staff for their continuous support we have raised an amazing £1,283.23!!
