Over 30 Year 13 students attended St. Mary’s University and Goldsmiths University on the 10th October and on the 17th October.  Students had the privilege to work on their Personal statements with experienced university and Aimhigher (NCOP) staff on a one-to one basis, they all took the opportunity to do a mock interview as well, naturally they had the chance to ask questions about the application process or university in general.

This was an invaluable experience for all year 13 students and we are very proud that they did this independently.

All students that attended the Personal Statement Clinic mentioned how accommodating the staff were and how important it is to get the right information on your statement, back at school they were all ready to complete their UCAS application. All students would like to thank Justine Marcham NCOP Project Co-ordinator for organising the above Clinic.

Two other students who are on the NCOP programme have a mentor and will receive support and attend workshops designed to support them through admissions tests and interviews and any other help they will require.
