Quest6 students have secured a wide range of exciting destinations now that their school careers have come to an end. From degree courses in Architecture to Acting and Business Management to Biomedical Sciences; apprenticeships ranging from marketing to chemical analysis; and jobs in ecommerce to retail, the students are excited about embarking on new beginnings.

Thomas Beecham, Head of School, says, “We are very proud of the hard work and dedication of our students, the results they have achieved and the opportunities they have as a result. The range of destinations for our students is huge. While we work hard to encourage students to choose the right thing to do next, it is their hard work which has led to the successes they are celebrating today. I know that they will be successful in their next steps and look forward to hearing more about these in due course.”

Alice-Victoria Reis-Rocha is off to study Interior Architecture at Middlesex University. She said, “I started at Quest6 in Year 12 and have a great two years here. I’m looking forward to university now! My advice to younger students would be to keep going, no matter what!”

Muskan Qaderi will be reading Biomedical Sciences at Kingston University but with a view to switch to medicine. “I’ve been at Quest since Year 7 and have loved the community. I didn’t even apply to any other sixth forms. Thanks to all the teachers who have helped me – they’ve all had their roles to play.”

Shaheim Delanbanque has secured a 2-year Level 4 Apprenticeship as a Chemistry Technician with multi-billion dollar firm, Johnson Matthey. He’ll be working to determine the precious metal percentage of materials and assigning monetary values accordingly. He’ll be helping to make catalysts out of precious group metals and recycling them for net sustainability. Shaheim said, “I’d like to say thanks to Miss Miller, Mr Houghton and Mr Cox for all their help. I’m really pleased with this outcome.”

Zoe Abdoollah has started working in her role as Marketing Director for an ecommerce business and is already planning their Christmas campaign, focusing on promoting Christmas gifts. Check out the website for Tactical AirSoft to find out more about what she’ll be up to!

Yousef Maza secured a fabulous set of results including a Distinction Star in IT. He’s now searching for a degree-level apprenticeship in software engineering, data analysis or data science. Yousef said, “I’ve been at TQA since Year 9. It’s been great here. The teachers have been very, very supportive. There’s a lot of 1-to-1 experience, lots of interaction it’s very inter-personal. I’d like to thank both my peers and my teachers, particularly Mr Houghton and Miss Miller.”

Isabella Burton is taking a GAP year whilst working as a waitress. She’s planning to study Fine Art at Brighton University, starting September 2024. “My advice to younger students? Don’t slack off! I was perhaps a bit relaxed in Year 12! But I’m happy with the outcome.”

Emily Goodman will be reading English Literature at Reading University. She said, “I’ve been here since Year 7 and have built great relationships with the teachers. You get challenged in class to think outside the box. The enrichment is great too… it’s not just things you learn in the textbook. You get to learn a wide variety of things. So it really encourages individuality. My advice to younger students would be not to be scared to ask for help. The teachers are always willing to help here.”

Cameron Baldock is currently working in a major supermarket and is saving money whilst applying for an apprenticeship in IT. “I got a Distinction Star in IT so I’m looking for something in that field. I’ve really enjoyed my time here at Quest.”

Agash Anpalakan has confirmed a place studying Business Management at Kingston University, after which he wants to get a Masters or a Level 7 Apprenticeship. He says, “Business has always been a passion of mine and I have a particular interest in property development. My challenge was to really try my best and not to give up but I’ve pushed through, with the support of the teachers here.”

Jawad Ali expects to ultimately study medicine but is starting off with a Biomedical Sciences degree at Queen Mary University. He said, “I joined Quest6 in Year 12 and it’s been good here! The teaching here was really great.”

Executive Principal at The Quest Academy, Andy Crofts, said, “Congratulations to all students collecting their A level and BTEC results today. After a tumultuous couple of years post pandemic they have worked really hard to get the results they need to go on to university or an apprenticeship. We wish them every success in the future.”
