Year 8 spent an exciting day in Greenwich visiting the National Maritime museum. They had the opportunity to explore many different exhibitions from the ‘Battle of Trafalgar’ to ‘Pacific Encounters’ and even discover the challenges of extreme environments and climate change in the new ‘Polar Worlds’ exhibition.

Following this, the students embraced the rain and walked up the hill in Greenwich park to view the impressive London skyline, before returning back to the town via the Greenwich meridian line.

The afternoon was spent exploring Greenwich market, looking at all the souvenirs and trying all the edible treats on offer.
