A group of Year 8 students travelled to Victoria Docks to explore the Siemens Crystal Innovation centre, which is an exhibition on the future of sustainable cities.   Here they had the opportunity to explore many different exhibitions including the discovery of sustainable inventions from around the world and future solutions to the global energy and water problems. Students were able to have a go at creating their own kinetic energy and watch an animation of how cities have changed over time. They also had the opportunity to build their own virtual sustainable home through an interactive game.   Following this the students enjoyed their lunch sat outside, overlooking the London Docklands and Emirates Skyline before returning back to Croydon.
