The children in The Burrow have enjoyed using the new climbing A frame.

Did you know that climbing offers a number of multi-faceted benefits?

The physical benefits of a climbing frame for children include increased muscle tone and strength as children pull up their body weight.  As well as improved fine motor movements as children use hand-eye coordination to grasp handholds and wrap their fingers around them.  Physical activity aides the children’s cognitive development for learning in the classroom.  They practice decision making, sequencing and visualising solutions to a challenge.
