On Thursday 4th March 2021 Courtwood enjoyed their first virtual World Book Day. The children spent the day sharing and discussing their favourite books and completing a range of fun, book based activities. The teachers loved seeing photos and videos of the children building reading dens, cooking up book themed recipes and reading extracts of their favourite stories. Throughout the week the children had the chance to enter a ‘Book Nook’ competition and we were amazed by all of the fabulous entries. It was a really difficult decision but we finally managed to pick a winner for each bubble. All of the children received a certificate for taking part.
